NC Soccer Approved for a "Support Soccer in NC" License Plate
North Carolina Soccer is very pleased to announce the approved legislation for the production of a specialized license plate supporting soccer in North Carolina.
This initiative is an opportunity to assist in the advancement of the game of soccer in North Carolina. NC Soccer will receive each year $15.00 from each renewal of your specialized "Support Soccer in NC" license plate. Funds from this project will be used to promote youth and adult soccer, support the NC Soccer Hall of Fame, support referee development, coaching education and field enhancement projects in North Carolina. With your support, we can continue to improve the quality of soccer in NC, introduce more children to the lifelong benefits of soccer and help the sport to grow.
We must have a minimum of 300 paid applications for the plate to be initially produced. A paid application must include the appropriate fee.
NC Soccer is offering two (2) options.
Option 1 is for the Specialized "Support Soccer in NC" license plate with DMV-assigned numbers.
Option 2 is for the Specialized "Support Soccer in NC" license plate with a personalized phrase.
Option 1: You may purchase a "Support Soccer in NC" license plate with DMV-assigned numbers for an annual fee of just $25.00.
Option 2: You may purchase a "Support Soccer in NC" license plate with a personalized phrase for an annual fee of just $55.00.
*NOTE: Neither fee includes the annual renewal tag fee for the DMV.
You are limited to ONLY four (4) spaces. Phrases will be assigned on a first- come first-served basis.
The fees for any of the two options are in addition to the regular cost of renewing your NC license plate, currently $28.00. DO NOT SEND SUPPORT SOCCER in NC YOUR DMV RENEWAL FEE OR TAG FEE.
DMV Renewal Fee and Tag Fee must be paid directly to DMV.
